You are 10X more courageous and have THAT much more bravery just by participating in it than any other member. That is really something to be proud of. I had to read a few lines as part of an induction ceremony and a professor I’ve known for year told me after how brave I was to just do it. I could have easily missed the ceremony and receive the tassel and certificate the next day in another professors office. Looking back I am happy I participated. And yes, I did stutter while speaking. It did suck, just like you said. But you’ve done it. You quite literally told your stutter that it wasn’t going to stop you from participating. Even though you did stutter, you still spoke. That is what makes you THAT much brave than the others.
