I agree with the previous comments, the people who take the time to listen to you and comprehend what you're trying to say are worth it. People who can't be bothered to wait aren't people you want to be around anyways. It's like a first impression filter. Additionally, some people find it cute. I had a serious stutter as a child, it has since become an intermittent mild stutter and my SO likes it. It feels so good to be told by someone they enjoy listening to you
