Anyone else feel like this sub excludes women? I'm a woman who stutters and I struggle a lot with embarrassment and self esteem because of it. I would like to hear more from other women who share my struggles, but on this sub I feel like I basically only hear the opinions and feelings about stuttering from men. I know that male stutterers are more common, but there is still a good portion of us female stutterers. One of the things I think about a lot is dating and how i am seen by men. I've tried looking on this sub about dating with a stutter, and practically all of the posts are from men, directed to men. There was even a post I saw about stuttering and dating and the OP said something along the lines of "this is directed to the men". And i see a lot of other posts were it is specified that their posts or comments are only directed to men, as if women's struggles related to stuttering are just invalid. I feel like women's opinions and points of view are often not concidared on this sub.
