I can say that when I was much less fluent, it could be helpful at times. These days, although it never really happens anymore, I'd set a hard boundary and ask them to let me finish/get through it. It may sound rude, but I dont want to converse with you if you are constantly filling in the blanks. Stopping it after the first few times you do it would be the best for both parties.
