I’m so sorry, people can be awful. If you have the strength, you can take this up with an office in your school. There should be an office that handles disability or inclusion, this is awful from the students but even more worse that your professor not only didn’t help, but joined laughing. There should be some accommodation for you if you are unable to continue with the class.
