I'm a long distance truck driver. I actually come from a family of truck drivers, but this wasn't my intended career, the problem is I couldn't do most the jobs I had always wanted to do, namely police officer, pilot, nearly every occupation out there requires a level of fluent communication, as a truck driver sure I have to speak to people, and I can get by just fine, sometimes I have problems like places I go where I have to use a phone to gain access to distribution centres or call a customer to tell them I'm coming, and believe me that shit is a nightmare for me, but all in all it's a job I can do, and have been doing for many years now and it's a good honest living, but my direction has been mainly forced by my stutter
