Hey! My native language is English, but I also speak German, intermediate Spanish and (also intermediate) Turkish. What I've found is that I am almost the same in German and English, but when I try to speak Spanish or Turkish it all goes to shit. I think that also has to do with what level you're at. I've had people tell me that at the beginning of their language learning journey they could speak more fluently, and I think that's true for me at the very early stages... But when you start trying to play with it and the more fluent you become, the more your stutter will show. In my experience, it was: great, good, bad, holy shit terrible someone send help, bad, and now my German behaves like my english. If I have a bad day I have it in both languages.. But my Spanish and Turkish... The struggle is real....
