When you get your interview, state that you have a stutter somewhere near the beginning of it. Something like ‘before we start, you’ve probably already noticed, I do have a stutter. It’s usually really bad when I’m nervous, which I am right now, but it never effects my work performance.’ In my eyes this lets the employer know two things, yeah you stutter, but you don’t let it stop you, meaning you can handle obstacles. And second, you’re nervous about the job interview, meaning it must mean at least a little something to you, and you’re not someone who is possibly an unreliable employee. As far as the anxiety goes, everyone’s different. For me, I usually take a deep breath and mumble / in my head to myself ‘I’m the baddest mother**** here’ then go in. Idk why, but it sometimes works for me.
