That’s a feeling I’m all too familiar with! However, I’ve tried to be less sensitive to my own stutter. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been blocked on a word, especially my name. It usually results in them saying the classic joke, “you forgot your name? Hehehe”. That used to bother me so much but since it’s happened so many times I just laugh it off and confess a stutter and that usually calms me down. Have you tried easy onset speech? Look it up, it’s helped me tremendously when blocking on words!
