Loyalty means everything to me. I am not a forgiving person in general but betrayals I cannot handle at all. I will never speak to a person who betrays me again. But I even go a step further, if I know that a person in my circle betrayed another person and I know this to be true, then they are 86’ed as well. I knew a girl who was a friend of mine and she betrayed a friend of hers. She told me she did this, I got up and walked out if her life forever. She called me about a year later and I told her exactly why she could never be my friend. She barely even remembered what she did, but I remembered every detail lol. I have very high standards for myself and very high expectations of the people I hold dear to me. But I also have friends who I’ve known and kept since I was in diapers. It’s hard tho to have truly close friends which I don’t have because the more you get to know people, the more you realize that there is something wrong with them. I am always meeting people that I like at first but then I realize that they are secretly racist, or secretly homophobic, or secretly very stupid, or the worst are the ones who just do shady stuff like shoplift in Walmart. Bruh, you own a car dealership wtf are doing? But yeah, loyalty is critical to me.
