professor here ... ​ I've found it helpful to simply address it as nonchalantly as possible. It hasn't really been an issue for me in any of the course I've taught. I've even joked about a particularly severe disfluency or days I experience a higher than average rate of disfluencies. Maybe you'll love it, maybe you'll merely tolerate it. The only way to know is to try!!
