I practice a stuttering modification technique called easy onset. When we get stuck on a word our vocal folds close so one way to open them up is to slowly build up vibration in the vocal cords. So let’s take the word basketball for example. You’d use a gentle onset turning the B in a light quiet p and then prolong the a while slowly increasing the volume and strength, and then finish the rest of the word. So it would be like: paaa (10% volume) a (30%) a (50%) a (70%) asketball (100%) And if you practice this every morning, every time you encounter a stuttering block/feeling you can use it to alter and control the stuttering. It doesn’t eliminate the stuttering moments but it gives you the ability to manage them and struggle less
