I was turned on to it in 1990. Burns treated anxiety without meds by helping people reframe their thinking patterns. I use the premise of it in therapy every day. Projecting (#5), black/white thinking (#1), and Personalization (#10) are the most common cognitive distortions for pws. It helped me in my emancipation from fear and anxiety. The book *Feel the Fear and Do it Anyway* is also good.
