I'd use 'particular' more often instead. It's a band-aid fix and recently been told it's not a good approach to stuttering but my experience is that it helped me through the bad days. I feel for you. I had this happen in second grade on the first day of school when I just couldn't say my own damn name to introduce myself to the class. I still cringe over 30 years later.
