I did 16 years ago changed it to a very short name that couldn't be broken up in 2 or 3 sounds and it worked I've not got stuck on my new name once which is so fabulous I did spend a lot of time choosing the name and I've never regretted it I was really hard trying to convince family friends etc didn't understand why I had done it and telling everyone I was a bit ashamed etc but now it's so good I have heard of others that do this but after a while that get stuck on the new name so I guess it's not for everyone
