No, I didn't say that. I said that if you're afraid of introductions/the name game then you're basically afraid of life and I stick by that. Now in terms of how we should view that.... yes, I'd be more forgiving of someone who is newer to stuttering. But after a while, yes, it becomes inappropriate and I honestly just don't have sympathy for a man who has stuttered 40 years and is terrified at the thought of a little girl asking him his name. I know my opinion is unpopular here but I call it like I see it.
