In my opinion. People with a mild stutter wouldn’t be on forums like these. It would be impossible to do the Mcguire course and get nothing out of it. Prior to doing Mcguire I thought I knew everything about stuttering. After doing it I realise how much I was lying to myself. People who stutter tell ourselves so many lies every day. I knew about the Mcguire program for 10 years. I kept on lying to myself that stuttering wasn’t a problem for me and told myself that I didn’t need to go. I was 33 before I finally admitted the truth. In hindsight I wish I had of went ten years earlier. If you consider stuttering a problem in your life then definitely go, it’s life changing for a lot of people.
