Struggling with Stuttering in High-Pressure Situations – Need Advice Hi everyone, I wanted to share my experience and get some advice. I often struggle with starting a conversation in certain situations—like saying “Hey Siri,” picking up the phone, or greeting relatives, strangers, or seniors. However, when talking to family or friends, I rarely stutter, and after conversing for a bit with strangers, I usually become fluent. This hasn’t caused major problems in my professional life, as I communicate fluently with my patients, though it does affect my confidence. But during a recent visa interview, I struggled significantly with stuttering right at the start, and now I’m worried that it’s getting in the way of my plans to go to the USA. Has anyone experienced something similar? Do you have any tips for managing these initial stuttering moments, especially in high-pressure situations? I’d really appreciate any advice.
