I had a friend in college. Literally just didn't give a fuck about his stutter, even though it was pretty intense. He was a really cool guy, people liked hanging around him, he had a really chill gf, was sometimes an asshole (in a friend kind of way), and no one cared about his stutter. I added that asshole part at the end because, I mean, he was himself, and he surrounded himself with good friends. He wasn't this 100% charismatic mother fucker, he was just very comfortable being himself, and that made him very enjoyable to be around. Just so you hear a nice story - you can be yourself, try try to give 0 flying fucks about shitty people and walk away, and try to find some good eggs to hang with :) Also, to add: I honestly don't think there was a single person that actually made fun of his stutter at my university. Someone else in this thread pointed out that students in university are more chilled out/don't care about this stuff - and that's 100% true.
