Think about how you forget things in general....for example, what did you eat for dinner two weeks ago from today? Obviously if you try really hard you might remember, but 99% of the time you will have forgot. The reason you forget is because it’s not relevant/important anymore. It has no real significance. We eventually forget things that are not significant. I look at “talking perfectly” as not relevant/significant. I started looking at “being a good person”, “going to gym 5 days per week”, “working hard at my job”, etc etc as SIGNIFICANT instead. I don’t speak perfectly, I bobble (see Dr. Mort Cooper vid) all the time, but I don’t care how I speak as long as I’m not rude to others. The way that I forgot about my stuttering is because I heavily focused on so much other shit in life that I simply didn’t have time to focus on stuttering After listening to a lot of Cameron Hanes and David Goggins, I don’t have time to focus on stuttering because I’m too busy working hard.
