I have a speech impediment, but I've never thought of killing myself ever. I was scared of talking to people and applying to companies after I graduated college because of how people would react or think negatively about my stutter. But one day I was hanging out with a good friend of mine and he told me that I shouldn't give a fuck about what people think about me and that I had to be selfish in order to move forward. From that day on, I strived to become a better person, not just for myself but for my family and friends too. I have an interview for a job tomorrow and I'm really excited about the company I applied to. Even though it's hard for people like us to get ahead in life, it's your mindset that will help you overcome your challenges. Keep your head up and be strong. You got this. We are in this together, and people are out there to support you and help you become a better person. And yes, dating is hard for people like us, but you will find someone who understands you as a person and who will stay with you no matter how bad your flaws are.
