I didn’t intend to “answer for you.” I apologize if it seemed that way. I did intend to add to the discussion. I have no doubt that you are cured and obviously what you’ve done worked. That’s great. There’s more than one way to get fluent and desensitization is a very effective technique because it neutralizes the approach avoidance aspect of stuttering. The fear goes away. Maybe saying “practicing stuttering” is misleading. It’s not practice, to get better at something. it’s intentionally stuttering to face the monster head on and keep speaking through it. It’s taking the power of the beast away, so to speak. Congratulations on your fluency. I know your suggestions will be very helpful to the people on this sub.
