You may be more smart than them Just to let you know I have transitioned from severe to mild stutterer. When I was 5, it was severe. Now at the age of 25, it's really mild (depends on situation) Let me tell you my success stories: * As a Muslim, I memorized the whole Quran by heart and can recite it without any stutter [this may not seem like an achievement to you guys but for me it is] * Did Bachelors in Computer Science from one of the top universities in my city. (Got admission without an interview) * Gave around 6 interviews and passed 5 of them (with stutter) * Teach A-Levels students Computer Science and Chemistry over zoom 3 hrs a week in English (English is not my native language) and I am one of the top rated teacher at the academy * Recently gave Masters in CS interview to 5 panel of teachers and succeeded (note that I did stutter there) Point is that we normally think that since we are stutterers, we are not good enough than those who speak normally. THIS IS FALSE. Please grow out of it. You may be more smarter than them. Just have a positive attitude and be confident (even if it is a fake one) Try to be assertive. I still stutter on some letters like A, M and N and words that starts with 'Tr', but believe me these things should never hold you back.
