It's crazy that you just posted this; I just told myself that I would never feel ashamed of my speech again. I mean, it really isn't our faults. In my case, it's something I've had since I could string 3 words together. It has nothing to do with nervousness or not knowing how to speak or not trying hard enough. I'm done with feeling guilty for something I had no say in. I used to feel a lot of shame because I was "inconveniencing" others by making them wait for me. I'm so done with that. People, grown adults especially, can handle waiting a bit longer than usual for a girl to say something. And if they can't, them fuck them; they're not someone to impress anyway.
