The only thing that cured my stutter was a change of my daily mindset... Mostly I did this with mindfulness meditation and philosophy... I know everyone says "it's neurological" and they either go straight to drugs or put their hands up... However your daily experience is your neurology, and it is malleable based on genuine belief. Consider why you don't stutter talking to animals; why is every person you stutter with not just another animal? First step is to frame everyone you know like this, second step is to not feel embarrassed if you stutter in front of these fellow animals (I assure you no one else cares). As your fight, flight, or freeze muscle memory slowly goes away when you see people, so will your stutter. No rush, no pressure. Just stop worrying. I've smoked weed off and on for over a decade, it's super hit or miss if it amplifies my anxiety or my confidence... The only thing it does reliably for me is make me forget about what just happened. Lol. Which has been phenomenal if I was just traumatized, less so if I'm trying to remember detailed instructions. Lol.
