I’d try to find another way to let her know you enjoy talking to her. My husband stutters, and when we first were talking I’d tell him not to apologize. But I don’t think that was very helpful, and I realized he didn’t need somebody else telling him what he was doing wrong when he talked. So I started to say things like “I always like talking to you” when he’d apologize, instead of telling him not to do it.
