I developed my stutter (a neurogenic stutter) later, as an adult due to MS. I have had other speech impediments most of my life, but I don’t feel they held me back. So I didn’t really feel the need to included it on my resume or application. I was working at the job that I have currently when I started having issues with stuttering and dysphonia. The problem with that is I work as a telephone switchboard operator. I started seeing a speech pathologist. Some of it was learning to work with it and some of it was accepting it. It’s pretty intermittent now. Sometimes I don’t stutter at all for moths, and sometime I have a random off day.
