A stutter can often be improved and managed. That's literally the whole point of speech therapy. I've had plenty of jobs where I present my work to clients, and was picked over other people who didn't stutter because I was a better candidate than them based on the quality of my work. This defeatist attitude that the whole world is out to shun you for your disability is something I think you should work on. Most people, employers included, do not care and in many cases legally can't discriminate against you for it.
