Interns at the Eye Doctor looked and laughed at each other.. I’m 22 and go from not stuttering at all to not being able to get shit out. It’s the oddest thing. This just happened: Doctor “What happened to your eye?” Me: “Well, * insert fluent words. * and I woke yesterday and it felt like.. C… like.. C.. Like…” and these college student assistant girls looked at each other and laughed. I didn’t say anything besides give the one ginger girl a kind of dirty look as I left but it’s just.. degrading and disgusting. These girls are probably the same girls who are in college and have all these liberal ideas of everyone is equal and you can identify as a squirrel if you want and all this shit and then do that. Just pisses me off. You’d think that anybody working a job at an eye care hospital place would be professional enough to crack the joke after I’m gone which is sad either way. It’s the same thing as saying shit about someone who had down syndrome or cracking racist jokes after you’re around someone of color. Just not cool. Sorry. I’m just irritated.
