One of my favorites! My 13 y/o son has a stutter that developed around age 5, and when I heard that episode my heart leapt at the fact that there could be even a remote possibility of help for his speech impediment. Thankfully he’s never been really self-conscious about it, he’s super resilient when it comes to the things he deals with(he also has a mild Asperger’s diagnosis). I’m definitely waiting for him to get older before introducing this a a possible treatment, but the idea of being able to help him like this definitely keeps me hopeful on some of his tougher language-related days. As for what you described, I’d definitely look into the possibility of daily micro-dosing to see if it provided some modicum of relief.
