Automated Digital Interviews

Automated Digital Interviews I'm not sure how many of you are familiar with digital interview platforms like HireVue, but they have become a common part of the application process for entry-level professional roles at medium-large companies. When you sign in, the computer asks you a series of questions and you have 1-2 minutes to record a video response for each. Once you've recorded, you can't go back and redo it. Typically I am able to manage in-person, live virtual, or telephone interviews well. I always disclose beforehand, and the interviewer is usually understanding and we are able to have a candid conversation, like I would with a friend or colleague. I'm able to crack a joke or two about stuttering and get on with it. However, these automated digital interviews go terribly. There is no opportunity to disclose because the computer asks you specific questions with no intro, and the whole aspect of it being a non-candid conversation removes all empathy and body language/facial expression and makes me super nervous. Anyone have a similar experience or any tips to share? I would really appreciate some insight on this.
