I had managed to eliminate them greatly at first by using fluency techniques (like syllabic speech, pauses, etc.). Afterwards, I also worked with my speech therapist on accepting stuttering (I'm still working on it) and how it's normal to stutter. I also think that seeing yourself doing these behaviors can help you realize how much they hinder your speech even more than the basic stuttering. My speech therapist showed me videos of me speaking with all these behaviors at the very beginning and I understood that I had to work on them. But, of course, when these are behaviors that we have adopted for years to the point of doing it instinctively, it requires a conscious effort while speaking to say to ourselves "I don't need that, I'll let my stutter come out as it comes" and it's not always easy. It's normal that it takes time, but you will do them less and less over time.
