When I'm at Dairy Queen, I say Lizard instead of Blizzard to avoid stuttering and no one has noticed. For the past year or so, I've been ordering "lizards" at Dairy Queen and it has worked quite well to help me avoid blocking or stuttering! Words that start with B can sometimes be a huge block for me. I order at the drive thru, so the silence before I would say "blizzard" would be confusing for the employee. Sometimes it's just about finding something that works and using it, "always fighting through the stutter" be damned.
