Day 6 of Vitamin B1 Supplementation (*I was posting these by following up on my original post but I figured no one would see it that way. This way, whoever is interested to follow the progress can see it easily as I'll be updating with a new post for each day.)* **Day 6** Thoughts: Today wasn't a workout day and by extension, it wasn't a caffeine day. As hypothesized, fluency was much better today. Blocks occurred but were short lived. Had general fluency for most of the day. I realized that I've been making a grand fallacy recently: expectation. When I began taking these vitamins, my goal was to obliterate my stutter completely overnight-- just by taking an extra vitamin every morning. Of course, it doesn't work like that. When comparing my progress to that goal, of course I'm coming short...the goal is unrealistic. However when I compare my fluency to where it was before, I have reason to be happy and optimistic. **Opportunities for speaking: 4/10.** Studied a lot today and encountered less people than average. **Stuttering intensity today: 3.3/10**. Slightly better than average. **Energy levels: 6/10.** Slept a weird night last night because of eating too late. Adjusted my eating schedule accordingly. **Mood and general enthusiasm**: 7/10. Changed my perspective and feeling great since. Looking forward to the future. Tomorrow is another workout day and even though I said I'd throw out my pre-workout products if today went better without caffeine, I'm going to do some more testing first. Before throwing them out completely, I will try first to take my B1 WELL before I take any caffeine for the day. The idea is that perhaps my body will have enough time to fully assimilate the vitamin before the caffeine has a chance to come in and interrupt absorption, giving me the opportunity to benefit from both supplements on the same day. The testing continues...
