The global population of people who are stuttering is roughly 3%. So as you may already know OP that it takes a lot of capital to produce a drug to bring to the market. Unfortunately for the people who do suffer from stuttering why spend the capital where the return on investment is simply not there on a global scale. I have a MBA, so I am coming from a shear economic perspective in terms of how a drug manufacturer will look at the ailments that a large number of people in the world are suffering from. Should the be a drug that will help our group? YES.
