Thank you. Actually, I can also be very indirect so it’s possible she was referring to that habit. Also, while at that job, (separate from it), I discovered the key to gaining more fluency (don’t hide it, so the opposite of your intuition). I’m about to start a new job and feel no fear about my speaking anymore. I can very much relate to the idea that more education does not necessarily mean more curiosity, etc. I’ve even had colleagues who were SLP’s (in public schools) who had no training in supporting ppl with dysfluency, so it really is up to us. I feel that I got lucky in discovering the solution to speaking comfortably, so I enjoy sharing my info on this sub
