Any other stutterers have trouble ‘finding’ words or describing things? I mean, disregarding the actual physical inability to speak sometimes, do any other stutterers here just have a hard time expressing what they think with words, vocally or written? It’s usually easier when I write because I have a lot of processing time to decode what I want to say from memories to words, but when it comes to speaking theres just the fact that I don’t know *how* to translate what I’m thinking into words. For example like describing the position or location of something to someone is difficult for me, not because of my stutter but because I can imagine the location fine but have no idea how to verbalize it. Again I really hope I’m describing **this** correctly because I’m having a hard time trying to explain this phenomenon as well. I wonder if anyone else has this strange issue. I don’t experience this constantly but it’s enough that I wonder if it has something to do with my stutter.
