I whole heartily agree. Hiding my stutter put so much stress on my shoulders, espically thinking about the reactions of others. Once I started telling people and making light of it, it becomes more of one of my personal traits than a "problem". I guess what I'm trying to get at is that people think of your stutter exactly how you think about it. If you look at it as an issue, and express yourself in that way, then those people will think it's an issue. Inversely, if you make light of it, people will have a similar view.
