I'm working to be a teacher (prob more towards math or science). My speech patterns definitely make it hard, but I've found that (for my situation at least) the ones who have the biggest issues aren't the students. It's my supervisors, who seem to be under the impression that students have no ability to learn from people with any sort of disability.
