My parents were not interrupters but some frequent people I interact with are. And of course, the dear phone - where people THINK no one is on the other line because I'm blocking and they keep talking over me while I'm trying to get through it. It sucks and other than those specific moments, I'm pretty fluent. A couple years younger than you, but I feel your struggle!
