Does anyone else feel like a stutter is a motivating factor?

Does anyone else feel like a stutter is a motivating factor? I've constantly felt like my stutter has held me back in my life, and has led to me to not make friends, not play team sports, not learn certain skills, not get certain jobs, and so forth. I'm sure many of you all felt similarly. I've recently been starting to see my stutter as a motivating factor in my life... Like thinking: I can do <some task> better than most people despite having a stutter. It just feels good to prove those negative thoughts wrong. Guess it's just another way of looking at it.
