What does it mean if i stutter the same speaking to others and speaking to myself

What does it mean if i stutter the same speaking to others and speaking to myself Many people on the internet that said they stopped stuttering were only stuttering while talking to others, and they were afraid of reading in class. Which i find very confusing, because i stutter the same talking to others and myself and i hardly ever stutter when reading. Does it mean that my stuttering is impossible to cure?
