I say something like “hey, I appreciate that you are trying to help me out but please let me finish my own sentences/words even if it takes an extra second or two.” Or shorter “thanks but please let me finish my own words”. Never has anyone be rude when I said that but if they were I personally would not have an issue telling them to quit it. Boundaries are important with anything in life, including stuttering.
