Ugh I had more here...still getting used to reddit. I'll try to remember what I wrote. So words of advice? - work on eye contact while stuttering - be comfortable taking pauses during conversation (all conversation and then apply it to interviews) . Practice this. Try to dictate the pace of the conversation. Fun game to play: go up to someone and rate their level.of relaxation from 1 -10. Try to be more relaxed than them. - this is a tough one. Dont view stuttering as a weakness. You probably stutter really well - play to your strengths. Embrace it! Opportunities can open up for you if you're comfortable with your "flaws". If you're awkward in a stuttering moment chances are your listener will have the same awkwardness as you. Listeners feed off the speaker's emotions. - advertising is optional. You'll hear many opinions on this. Some love it and some hate it. Try it once and see for yourself - I wish I did Toastmasters earlier. It will really help you in interviews. I hope some of this helps!
