I can't remember as a child. But I went to university with this girl who initially was friendly to me, and we got on well. Then, one time we had a disagreement and my stutter came out more, as I was emotional. She suddenly stopped talking, stared at me, then started laughing. I know she was laughing at my stuttering, and I remember running to my bedroom and crying. I doublespeak to her after that, as I felt humilated.
