I feel like when I slow my speech it worsens my prolongations in normal conversations. (Ex. Whhhhat aaare you doing? Hhhooow are you?) I guess it’s very dependent on if you really are speaking too quickly. Every stutter is different and I tend to lean on the prolongation side, naturally. Have you tried speaking to a metronome? I try to practice at around 120-130bpm and it was helping a lot till I kindof formed anxiety of speaking without it because I would stutter.
