Been in that exact position and I’ve cried too. That’s the worst feeling and its hard to say anything to them because they’re kids. It’s the duty of the parents if anything to teach their kids and educate them but again, kids will always be tough to control. It happens to me all the time, even now. What I did, and this is easier said than done, is change my perspective on it. I keep reminding myself “They’re kids and they don’t know any better” and as embarrassing and gut wrenching it is, I still try and be very calm and collected with them. Each case varies and I am sorry you had to deal with that. Try being vocal and talking about it with your family, maybe they can speak to the kid directly in an understanding way and explain things better
