I've been where you are! I'd leave for the bathroom every time I had to read! You said you're scared of telling your teacher about your stutter, and I get that. It feel embarrassing. But the best thing you can do for your own comfort AND your grades, is to let everyone know. Let your teacher and eventually your class know. When you're speaking to someone who knows you have a stutter, it gets easier. You'll find people become more patient, and they don't act surprised or confused when you get stuck. Also teachers cannot deduct points from your grade for a medical issue such as a speech impediment. If teachers *know* you have a stutter, they'll understand. Otherwise they might think you're just a bad speaker and they'll give you a lower grade. If you can find that confidence in you to go talk with your teacher about it, explain your stutter, when it gets bad, etc., you'll hopefully find yourself a lot more comfortable. Trying to hide it from people is a lot more nerve-wracking and stressful. Best of luck comrade!
