Not sure. I only saw individual private therapists and went to speech therapy through middle school with a few other kids but we never really bonded over it or anything. I guess I didnt know support communities were out there. I dont think it was until I found out about our local chapter that I learned more was out there. Then I joined a facebook group and I think my awareness really grew from there. After my first conference it was all over. They got me!
