I have to agree with [/u/Mr_Quakcums](http://www.reddit.com/user/Mr_Quackums) it depends on the relationship you have with the person. For me personally there are some people who laugh to put you down, or do try and insult you, I don't care but other people get offended. When a friend does the same his or her intention is to have a laugh not try and poke holes in your self-esteem. EDIT 1: Spelling
